EARLY HISTORYThe Bloodfang Tribe owns more across Ragnarok than you’d expect from a tribe long lost. This is because their story does not start with the beginning of this ARK. Their story starts with a young man named Elijah when he washed up on the shores of the Black Bone Tribe. Before he could figure out where he was, he had a spear land in the sand beside him. A moment later, six men dressed in tribal gear surrounded him with spears and arrows pointed at him. He was taken prisoner only to find out that that the strange diamond shaped contraption in his arm helped him understand them. Found out to be a new arrival, Elijah was brought in as a tribesman and joined the Bloodfang Tribe.
Years of preparation and war led him to his first Ark Ascension. The men of the Bloodfang tribe fought and many died to get the rest home. Unfortunately, the belief that taking down each of the final Obelisk Beasts would allow them to go home was proven to be false. Their final mission only led them to begin their journey again, but this time on a new home: The Center. Elijah and only five other members of the original Bloodfang Tribe made it through. They found each other along the beach and began their journey again, only to find that the Center was a very different beast.
Time on the Center was long and depressing. The Bloodfang were forced into guerrilla tactics for months before they could truly make a base for themselves. They watched the beaches from the tree lines and recruited men and women of all kinds in order to reinforce their own army before other tribes had the chance to do the same. With stealth as their main weapon, they slowly took over smaller tribes and pulled surviving members into their own. They created alliances with some and soon had an army of men working together under Elijah’s leadership, until the Broodmother’s Watch.
The Broodmother’s Watch was normally a very passive tribe because of the immense numbers they had over all other tribes on the Center. Seeing the Bloodfang’s numbers increase was a threat they felt needed to be dealt with. A swift attack on the Bloodfang’s base took out half of their tribe, forcing them to flee into the forests. They came together again to rebuild, something that took months to complete. The mission for revenge became their main goal and the specialty of the Bloodfang tribe was put into action. It was time to tame their first Rex on the center. Elijah did this on his own.
While taming the massive beast, later named Titan, Elijah was being watched and only when the spy came close enough for his Parasaur to spot her, did he notice. He quickly ran the woman down, only to commit the cliché of falling for her at first sight. A little bit of Pocahontas’ story comes into play when she asks him to teach her his ways and he gives in without worry. At first, she was using his talents of taming large beasts, but did not expect to be tamed herself. She fell in love with him as well, though it was against her tribes wishes. She left them and joined his tribe, a complete betrayal.
Months passed with the Bloodfang hiding in the shadows to prevent the Broodmother’s Watch from taking notice. Finally, they rose out of the darkness a fully-fledged army, with dozens of Rexes, Raptors, Carnos, and two Giga’s behind them. They led massive attack on the Broodmother’s Watch and ended their reign through bloodshed. With his new wife by his side, Elijah and the Bloodfang Tribe took over the Center. When his wife became pregnant, things were forced to slow down for Elijah. He couldn’t risk leaving the ARK and being separated from Yamileth with a child on the way.
Elijah and Yamileth decided to live a peaceful life with their daughter, Maya. When Maya was grown, it was time to move on and the years of preparation gave them the perfect edge. They gathered as many as possible and took on the three Beasts of the Center’s Obelisks and defeated them all. Soon, they Ascended and moved onto yet another ARK. To their disappointment, only a few people made it to Ragnarok. Even though more survived the war they fought, they didn’t come with them. Elijah, Yamileth, Maya, and four others began to raise their own tribe from the dead.
